Pre/Postnatal
I’ve recently qualified in pre & postnatal Pilates and will be adding two new classes to the timetable: a dedicated Prenatal Pilates class to support you through pregnancy and a Postnatal Baby & Me class to help you gently rebuild strength and reconnect with your body while bonding with your baby.

With a maximum of 4 people per session, I’m able to offer personalised support to ensure you feel safe, confident, and empowered at every stage of your journey. Whether you're preparing for birth or easing back into movement postnatally, each class is tailored to suit your needs and energy levels.

If you’re interested in joining, please register your interest and let me know what days/times you'd love to see these classes on the timetable. You must have had sign off from your doctor if postnatal.

Sam is an incredible teacher and shows great patience and understanding of people with different abilities and injuries so that everyone feels included , and as a male it could feel a bit odd going to a Pilates class but made to feel completely welcome , the exercises have really benefited me in my overall flexibility and health goals and would highly recommend anyone thinking about it to give it a go ! Thank you Sam

I absolutely love attending Sam's Pilates classes. She’s such a lovely woman and genuinely cares about everyone who walks through the door. The classes are small and intimate, which I really like, and she always makes sure you’re doing each movement safely and correctly. She helps with breathing, posture, form, and constantly checks in during and after class to make sure you’re feeling ok and staying hydrated. What I really appreciate is how well she can adapt exercises for different injuries, levels, and even pregnancies, nothing ever feels one-size-fits-all. She pushes you in the best possible way while still making you feel supported. She’s a wonderful individual and I’d recommend her to absolutely anyone.

I joined Sam’s mat Pilates classes in the summer and I can’t recommend her enough. She has been incredible at supporting my post surgery recovery, helping me build strength, heal, and regain my confidence. Sam is knowledgeable, encouraging, and creates such a welcoming environment. I always look forward to her classes and highly recommend them to anyone looking to improve their strength and wellbeing!

Do I need to bring any equipment with me?

No, I will provide you with a mat, yoga blocks and small equipment should we need it.

I'm a beginner, can I still join your class?

I welcome all abilities to my classes, I work on layering my classes so you can progress the movement as much as your body allows. I will always modify the movements as well to help maintain alignment.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, form fitting clothing that allows you to move freely. I would also recommend wearing grip socks over normal socks to help with stability on the mat.

Will Pilates help with my back pain?

Yes, Pilates can help with back pain by strengthening the core muscles, which are important for supporting the spine. It's always a good idea to check with a healthcare professional before starting Pilates if you have an injury.
