Build Strength, Find Balance, Feel Better – Pilates for Every Body

ABOUT
Hi, I’m Sam! After years in the fast-paced world of office life as an Executive Assistant, my life took a beautiful turn when I had my daughter. It was during this new chapter that I discovered Pilates. It started as a much-needed escape and quickly grew into a passion that transformed my life.

Fitness has always been part of my story but Pilates brought me a new kind of strength, focus, and sense of accomplishment. Now, I’m so excited to share that joy with you!

I teach Mat pilates in my home gym studio and reformer at local studios.

As a Pilates beginner, I have been loving attending Sam’s intimate weekly group classes. Sam is a great teacher, her guidance is clear and encouraging and she always offers different options depending on your fitness level and corrects your posture when it’s needed. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Sam as an instructor!

I am brand new to pilates and was very nervous to try it. I was also worried about my ability to do it. However Sam is just absolutely the best instructor who has put me at ease and brought out the best in me. She is so lovley and kind and is really positive and full of encouragement in all of our sessions. I absolutely leave the class feeling fantastic. She is an absolute pro and expert!

As a Pilates newbie, I really appreciate the intimacy of a small class and the fact that Sam can therefore immediately spot when my posture is wrong. I’ve really enjoyed my classes and the variety that Sam has introduced in each class.

Do I need to bring any equipment with me?

No, I will provide you with a mat, yoga blocks and small equipment should we need it.

I'm a beginner, can I still join your class?

I welcome all abilities to my classes, I work on layering my classes so you can progress the movement as much as your body allows. I will always modify the movements as well to help maintain alignment.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, form fitting clothing that allows you to move freely. I would also recommend wearing grip socks over normal socks to help with stability on the mat.

Will Pilates help with my back pain?

Yes, Pilates can help with back pain by strengthening the core muscles, which are important for supporting the spine. It's always a good idea to check with a healthcare professional before starting Pilates if you have an injury.
