Sam is a brilliant Pilates teacher. Her one to one classes and small groups are perfect as I’m getting back into exercise and improving my fitness. It feels like a work out which I love. Her studio is intimate size and great that she supplies all the mats and equipment for you. Can’t wait to come back in the new year!

Sam creates a really relaxing and calm environment allowing you to relax and really focus on yourself to get the most out of the class. I have just completed a starter session with Sam which I thoroughly enjoyed and have come away feeling 1000% better than when I walked in. I found Sam’s class to be energising whilst also being Relaxing at the same time. Sam takes the time to ask you what you would like to get out of her class and then tailors the class and movements to your ability. I fully recommend Pilates with Sam and I am looking forward to regular sessions with her to improve my flexibility, stability and general wellbeing. Thanks Sam for a great session.

Pilates with Sam is so much fun! The moves are tailored to your needs with multiple options to what feels best for your body and you are never pressured to go into the next step. The class is calming and friendly and the best way to relax and stretch your body each week! I couldn’t recommend Sam enough!

Do I need to bring any equipment with me?

No, I will provide you with a mat, yoga blocks and small equipment should we need it.

I'm a beginner, can I still join your class?

I welcome all abilities to my classes, I work on layering my classes so you can progress the movement as much as your body allows. I will always modify the movements as well to help maintain alignment.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, form fitting clothing that allows you to move freely. I would also recommend wearing grip socks over normal socks to help with stability on the mat.

Will Pilates help with my back pain?

Yes, Pilates can help with back pain by strengthening the core muscles, which are important for supporting the spine. It's always a good idea to check with a healthcare professional before starting Pilates if you have an injury.
